What do you think !
Regardless of your politics and recent history notwithstanding, General Powell has some good points to make:
From the book, “ The Leadership Secrets of Colin Powell" (New York: McGraw-Hill, 2002), By Oren Harari
Lesson 1: "Being responsible sometimes means pissing people off."
Lesson 2: "The day soldiers stop bringing you their problems is theday you have stopped leading them. They have either lost confidence that you can help them or concluded that youdo not care. Either case is a failure of leadership."
Lesson 3: "Don't be buffaloed by experts and elites. Experts oftenpossess more data than judgment. Elites can become so inbred that they produce hemophiliacs who bleed to death as soon as they are nicked by the real world."
Lesson 4: "Don't be afraid to challenge the pros, even in their own backyard."
Lesson 5: "Never neglect details. When everyone's mind is dulled or distracted the leader must be doubly vigilant."
Lesson 6: "You don't know what you can get away with until you try."
Lesson 7: "Keep looking below surface appearances. Don't shrink from doing so (just) because you might not like what you find."
Lesson 8: "Organization doesn't really accomplish anything. Plansdon't accomplish anything, either. Theories of managementdon't much matter. Endeavors succeed or fail because ofthe people involved. Only by attracting the best people will you accomplish great deeds."
Lesson 9: "Fit no stereotypes. Don't chase the latest managementfads. The situation dictates which approach best accomplishes the team's mission."
Lesson 10: "Perpetual optimism is a force multiplier."
Lesson 11: "Powell's Rules for Picking People:” Look for intelligence and judgment, and most critically,a capacity to anticipate, to see around corners. Also look for loyalty, integrity, a high energy drive, a balanced ego, and the drive to get things done.
Lesson 12: "Great leaders are almost always great simplifiers, who can cut through argument, debate and doubt, to offer a solution everybody can understand."
Lesson 13: "Have fun in your command. Don't always run ata breakneck pace. Take leave when you've earned it: Spend time with your families. Corollary: surround yourself with people who take their work seriously, but not themselves, those who work hard and play hard."
Lesson 14: "Command is lonely."
Conclusion: " Leadership is the art of accomplishing more than the science of management possible.”

SAP SD Notes and document flow
Above dataflow will show you how the various types of sales documents are inter-related and how data subsequently flows into shipping and billing documents.
SAP SD Document flow :
Presenting to you the inter-relationship between different documents created in SD cycle.
1.Customer can inquire you on telephone and you may record in the system.
2.Ccustomer next requests a quotation, Create quotation w.r.t the inquiry.
3.Customer later places a Purchase order on the basis of the quotation and you create a sales order with reference to the quotation.
4.Ship the goods and bill the customer. This will generate Outbound delivery document which will be created w.r.t Sales order.
5. After delivery of the goods, the customer claims credit for some damaged goods and you create a free-of-charge delivery with reference to the sales order.
The entire chain of documents – the inquiry, the quotation, the sales order, the delivery, the invoice, and the subsequent delivery free of charge – creates a document flow or history. The flow of data from one document into another reduces manual activity and makes problem resolution easier. Inquiry and quotation management in the Sales Information System help you to plan and control your sales.
Some additional notes :
à Invoice Information can be accessed from table VBRP, the invoice document number is same as billing document number.
VBRP à Billing document line item.
VBRK à Billing document header data. Billing type field = FKART, for invoice = “F2”
Invoice document = Billing details + any discounts + other condition types (related to pricing procedure)
0BIL_QTY à Billing Qty in Base unit
0INV_QTY à Billing Qty in Sales unit
In R/3, go to T-code : VA03, open any sales order --> from menu bar --> go to documents --> select invoice document --> press F1 on the technical field --> find table for that field --> Go to t-code LBWE --> Identify which datasource corresponds to this table --> Set up the communication structure and Activate the data source.
Inquiry(customer) --> Quotation(vendor, company) --> Purchase Order (Customer) --> Sales Order (Vendor, internal) --> based on stock availability Purchase, Procure or Produce --> Shipping (Billing document, Invoice is a type of billing document ) --> Delivery note (It will have final qty delivered to customer), R/3 T/C apply at this point ( SD Pricing procedure )

Talkanaut : Talk free from your phone to Gtalk users worldwide !
Talkonaut 4.0, native (SIS) Symbian S60 edition released.
26th of February 2008.
Mobile VoIP the way it meant to be. During last 6 months our team had been working on two major improvments to our Talkonaut mobile application: 1. moving Talkonaut application to native Symbian S60 platform, and 2. implementing real VoIP stack that allows Talkonaut users to make voice calls over most data connections your mobile phone might have, such as: GPRS, EDGE, 3G and WIFI. With this new 4th release of Talkonaut we present our achievments in these directions, we believe all they make Talkonaut more consistant, outstanding and break-through mobile VoIP + Chat application ever available.
Features:
Talkonaut 4.0 was entirely rewritten in C/C++ and now runs on Symbian S60 3rd edition based Nokia smart-phones. Moving from Java to native platform allowed to reduce memory usage, improved speed and to add some functionalities that were not previously available for Jave applications, like VoIP, access to file local system (improved file transfer) and interaction with other applications (Web Browser for opening URLs right from chat window).
Using a set of narrow-band Speex codecs and relying on Jingle Audio extension to XMPP protocol (same as implemented in Google Talk), Talkonaut now brings to the world a very powerful combination of IM chat, Presence and VoIP calls made over data connection. Unlike standard SIP stack, that is available on some Nokia smart-phones, Talkonaut is not bound to WIFI only, and can make calls over GPRS, EDGE, 3G or WIFI. Talkonaut does not require to do any VoIP configuration and overcomes all the hassle with SIP settings.
Talkonaut 4.0 allows to make free VoIP calls to Google Talk users, to SIP phones, to MSN, Yahoo, AIM and ICQ voice capable IM clients, as well as to other Talkonaut fellows.
Talkonaut 4.0 allows to receive free calls from SIP phones (or any other VoIP networks), from Google Talk, MSN, Yahoo, AIM and ICQ users.
Talkonaut 4.0 allows to make cheap VoIP calls (check our rates) to any mobile or landline phone number in the world.
Talkonaut 4.0 allows to define any number of SIP accounts and use them to make free or cheap calls over third-party VoIP/SIP carriers. A flexible Dialing Plan feature is helpful for choosing routes to destinations between different carriers.
Talkonaut 4.0 is fully equipped with all the features previously available in J2ME version of Talkonaut 3.0, inherits the same graphical user interface and menu structure.
Talkonaut 4.0 runs on the following sets of Symbian S60 based Nokia smart-phones:
2nd Edition: N70, N72, N90
3rd Edition: 3250, 5500, 5700, 6110, 6120, 6121, 6290, E50, E51, E60, E61, E61i, E62, E65, E70, E90, N71, N73, N75, N76, N77, N80, N81, N81 8GB, N82, N91, N92, N93, N93i, N95, N95 8GB
Talkonaut 4.0 can be downloaded over-the-air using mobile web browser from http://get.talkonaut.com/, or via PC from http://www.talkonaut.com/download.shtml.

1. For a DSO with real-time data acquisition, the data is written to the following table
Active
2. In Query Designer, restrictions on default values apply to entire result set and cannot be changed.
False
Explaination :
In the Query Designer you can define characteristic restrictions to restrict the amount of data. You have two options for restricting the data: characteristic restrictions and default values. If you use characteristic restrictions, you cannot change the values at runtime. If you use default values, you can change the restrictions at runtime.
3. What will happen, if a characteristics with compounding information is added to a Query definition
Compounding characteristics will be added automatically
Explaination : Compounding is done when it is required to define a characteristic uniquely. e.g Cost center & Controlling Area.
